What's the main difference between a P40 skid and your Soft Wash Box?

If you want more power, higher flow, and the ability to shoot higher, go with a gas-powered Comet P40 on a Bandit skid. It’s ideal for commercial and larger residential jobs where you need to hit tall roofs and cover big areas efficiently.

The Soft Wash Box uses electric-powered pump and is quieter, more affordable & easier to troubleshoot. It is great for smaller residential work, but it won’t shoot as high or far, and it’s slower for big jobs.

What about the Comet P40/20-GR pump only—why would I buy just the pump?

The Comet P40/20-GR is just the pump head with gear reduction (no engine, no skid). It’s perfect if you already have an engine you want to pair it with, or you’re building your own soft wash rig and want to customize your setup while saving cost.

Can I use the Delavan electric pump for roof cleaning?

Technically, yes, but it’s not ideal for tall or steep roofs. It works well for house washing, fences, and small residential roofs, but it won’t match the reach and speed of a Comet P40 gas skid for larger or commercial jobs.
