Frequently Asked Questions

Soft Wash Box vs P40. Which is right for me?

If you want more power, higher flow, and the ability to shoot higher, go with a gas-powered Comet P40 on a Bandit skid. It’s ideal for commercial and larger residential jobs where you need to hit tall roofs and cover big areas efficiently.

The Soft Wash Box uses electric-powered pump and is quieter, more affordable & easier to troubleshoot. It is great for smaller residential work, but it won’t shoot as high or far, and it’s slower for big jobs.

Is P40 with electric start that much better than pull start?

The simple answer: the pumps are the same, the only difference is how you start them. We always recommend upgrading to electric start since its what we use and love, but pull start works just as well!
