No. Applying and the account are both free.
What do I get with an account?
Contractor pricing, set up on your account after we review your application, plus faster reorders, your order history in one place, and rewards points on every order. How rewards work.
How do contractor levels work?
There are three levels: Poseidon Contractor, Poseidon Pro and Poseidon Elite. Your level comes from your purchases over the last 6 months (rig purchases do not count) and is checked on the 1st of each month: spend more and you move up at the next check. If your spend drops, you move down one level per month, never below Poseidon Contractor while your account is approved. No membership fee. See the levels on this page.
Which items get contractor pricing?
Hoses (whip hoses included), nozzles and tips, and chemicals bought online get your level percent. Pressure washers (engine skids) get a smaller percent. See the levels on this page. Every level also gets bulk pricing on tanks, hose rolls and pressure hose, chemicals and 12V soft wash pumps (not the Soft Wash Box or Kit). Pressure washers get no bulk percent. Contractor pricing on sodium hypochlorite is done in person at the shop. Everything else is regular price.
How does bulk pricing work?
Every contractor level gets an extra percent off when buying more of one kind of item in a single order: tanks, hose rolls and pressure hose (whip hoses and hose by the foot do not count), chemicals bought online and 12V soft wash pumps. It adds to your level percent on hoses and chemicals; the bulk tables on this page show the quantities and percents for each level. Pressure washers get no bulk percent. It comes off in the cart by itself when you are logged in. Total contractor savings are capped at 12% per item. It never goes on sale items and never combines with another coupon or a rewards code. For more than the tables cover, request a volume quote for better pricing.
Can I use contractor pricing and a reward together?
One discount per order: contractor pricing or a rewards code. Your cart puts on the bigger saving and lets you switch. Sale items keep their sale price without the contractor percent on top. You still earn rewards points on every order.
Do I need an account to order?
No, you can check out without one. Contractor pricing applies once your application is approved and you are logged in.
Can I buy tax exempt?
Approved contractors with a valid tax exemption certificate can buy tax exempt.
How do rewards points work?
Every account earns points: 500 for joining, 25 to 2,000 on every order depending on its size, and more for email updates, follows and reviews. Redeem 1,000 points for $10 off, up to 10,000 points for $100 off, once you have placed your first order. Signature Builds and rigs earn too, capped at 2,000 points an order. See the full list.
