Put it in the line ahead of anything that can clog: a pump inlet, an injector, a proportioner valve or a metering tip. It catches grit and debris coming from a tank or a fill hose before it reaches the parts that are slow or costly to fix in the middle of a job.

The 1/2 in. inline design drops into water supply lines and soft wash plumbing on a trailer or truck without taking up room. When flow starts to drop, check and clean the screen before you go looking for a bigger problem.
