Good to know

  • Clamp the hose on the barb with a stainless hose clamp.

On the Job

The usual way to land a suction, fill or return hose on a rig: thread the barb into a tank fitting, valve, pump port or tee, push the hose over the barb and clamp it. The 1/2 in. and 1 in. are 90 degree elbows, so the hose turns at the fitting instead of bending hard right behind it; the 3/4 in. is straight.

Glass reinforced polypropylene stands up to soft wash chemicals, rated 300 PSI. Pick the size that matches your hose.

Clamp 1/2 in. hose with #6 hose clamps. Suction hose: PVC Clear Suction Hose.
