A spring-loaded pin lock for your hose reel. Pull the handle back and give it a quarter turn to free the drum; let it go and the pin snaps into the hole in the reel flange so the drum can't turn.

Good to know

Lock the reel for travel, and unlock it before you pull hose off. Pulling hard against a locked drum can damage the reel.

On the Job

Every reel on a rig should be locked before you pull out. An unlocked drum lets hose creep off and drag on the road, or flop around the trailer between jobs. This spring-loaded pin lock drops into the hole in the reel flange and holds the drum still; a quarter turn of the handle frees it when you get to the job.

Use it to replace a bent, seized or missing lock, or to add one to a reel that never had it. The stainless bracket has slotted holes, so it bolts to the reel frame and lines up with the flange hole. It fits Titan and Kings style reels and our Poseidon 12 in. reel.
