15 degree tips concentrate the spray for more impact over a smaller area. 25 degree tips balance coverage and impact for general cleaning. 40 degree tips spread the spray wide for rinsing, and the 65 degree tip is a low-pressure soap tip for putting on detergent.

Good to know

  • Pick the tip for your machine's actual flow and pressure. The right size keeps the machine performing as intended.
  • A 15 degree tip hits hard over a small area. Check the surface and your distance first, and use it only on surfaces that can take it.

Nozzle selection chart

The last photo is a nozzle selection chart. Find your machine's max GPM down the left side and its max PSI across the top: where the row and column meet is the nozzle size for your system.

On the Job

Threaded spray tips for J-Rods, nozzle holders and any spray assembly that uses 1/4 in. male pipe thread instead of quick connects. The last three digits are the size: match them to your machine, for example 055 for a 5.5 GPM machine, 080 for 8 GPM and 100 for 10 GPM.

The first digits are the angle. 15 degree hits hard on a small area, 25 degree is the everyday cleaning tip, 40 degree is for rinsing, and the 65 degree is a low pressure soap tip. Load a J-Rod with the four you use most and you can change pattern at the wand without carrying loose tips.

Holders: J-Rod Holder, 4-Way and C&R Dual Nozzle Holder.
